The sea side of Qingdao is pretty nice for someone who grew up in a desert. The water is massive and the view is vast. For the first time in my life I fed seagulls with the fried dough I bought from an old lady. The protestant church in which a very old (since 1919) bell clock is preserved and it was still working was pretty cool. According to the descriptions, the bell has almost never stopped working since it was installed in 1919 and with little help of modern technician, it is still striking hours for the Qingdao people now…
